History:

Roo was rescued by some tourists who ended up not knowing what to do with her. They ended up placing her in an inexperienced boarding place & the first time Alison set eyes on her at the clinic, her heart went out to this little girl. She was riddled with large infested wounds from dragging & they looked painful. At the time, Alison already had several dogs at the clinic & wasn’t able to take Roo on however, a few weeks later, when she was contacted about Roo, she didn’t hesitate to bring her into her care.

The first thing that needed to be done was to close all her open wounds which took some time because Roo needed to be able to gain skin pigmentation to be able to close all her wounds.  Alison used holistic treatment & eventually managed to close one side of her wounds & that’s when Roo had her first leg amputation.
Roo is Alison’s first special needs dog & she learnt so much from this experience which led her to her real passion of special needs cases.

A few month’s later, Roo had her 2nd amputation & again Alison holistically helped Roo to heal as fast as possible.  Unfortunately Roo then contracted urinary infections which took months to heal however, the good news is, since then, Roo has been a healthy & happy pupper.
